Welcome to the Chevron CAPChevron Canada operates a refinery on Burrard Inlet in North Burnaby, near North Vancouver B.C..
In 1996, a Community Advisory Panel – or CAP – was established to facilitate dialogue and foster understanding between the Burnaby refinery and the residents of adjacent North Burnaby neighbourhoods – an area bounded by Kensington Avenue to the east, Parker Street to the south, Boundary Road to the west and Burrard Inlet to the north. Click here to see an aerial view of the area.
The CAP works to identify and address issues of mutual importance and concern to neighbours. Discussions focus primarily on refinery operations,
safety and emergency response, environmental issues, noise and odour.
